Hey Guys!

I'm Katie, a 22 year old who lives in Virginia. I recently graduated with a B.S. in Biology, and will be  taking a year off before I return back to school for a Ph.D..

I wanted to create this blog to help remind myself of all the beauties that life brings. This positive way of thinking is a way for me to combat my anxiety and stress, which can sometimes be overwhelming. Just thinking about or being reminded of all the beauty in life is calming for me, and I'm sure it is for others too! 

The name of my blog "Believe in the Beauty of..." was inspired by one of my favorite Eleanor Roosevelt quotes!

When I'm not blogging, I'm either dancing/preforming, reading, or spending time with my wonderful family and friends. 

  

As you've read, my goal for making this blog was to help myself to think more positively about life. I hope that my posts will also help others to stop and think about the beauties present in their own lives, and I encourage anyone to share your positives with me and my readers!
